Maia has always been fascinated by the Blue Economy but wasn’t sure how to get involved. That changed when she met Nico SF and Nico V, who shared similar challenges. Together, they created BranchD—a platform to help high school students like them collaborate and make a real impact on environmental issues in a structured and meaningful way.

Nico SF recently graduated from high school and has lived his whole life in London. Born to a Spanish mother and an American father, Nico has had the opportunity to travel the world and witness its beauty. His passion for creating a community where people can share knowledge and collaborate on sustainability initiatives led him to co-found BranchD. Nico hopes that BranchD becomes a global solution for connecting people dedicated to improving the health of our planet.

Nico V was born and raised in Ecuador, a country renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning natural beauty. His deep appreciation for nature, combined with the lack of environmental awareness in his community, inspired him to co-create BranchD. Through education and sustainable initiatives, Nico hopes to connect people with nature and encourage a sense of responsibility to preserve biodiversity for future generations.
